Education: Single Seat Educational Institution versions

Instructors and Schools may purchase Educational single seat copies of Vectorworks Designer with Renderworks version 2009. Individual Instructors may purchase a single copy of the Educational version. There is no limit to the number of single seats an Educational Institution may purchase. (Please see Class sites, below)

For Vectorworks 2009, Educational Institutional single seat licenses consist of an installation CD, a set of manuals, a hardware dongle, and a serial number that is tied to the dongle. The Single seat licenses print with a watermark.

The Vectorworks Hardware Dongle is a USB device that connects to the USB port of your computer, and serves as a copy protection device. Your Vectorworks software will determine if the dongle is present when the software first launches. If it is not present, the software will not launch. The dongles for Vectorworks are SERIAL NUMBER SPECIFIC - Each serial number is generated to match a unique dongle.

All Single seat educational versions of Vectorworks are CROSS PLATFORM - they will install and run on both Macintosh and Windows computers, and all come bundled with Renderworks.

For 2009, the Educational product contains all of the Design series modules plus Renderworks.

Vectorworks Designer (Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Machine Design) with Renderworks.

Schools and instructors upgrading from previous versions will receive the full set of Design Series modules with their upgrades.
